Felt Patterns
Felting Tips to Keep in Mind: Only protein fibers from hairy beasts will felt such as sheep's wool, goat's mohair if mixed with wool, and alpaca. Many bleached or off-white and light colors do not felt well if at all. Do not use superwash wools, synthetics, silk, or cellulose (cotton, ramie, rayon, etc.) as these will not felt (wool blended with silk or cellulose fibers will felt if the blend is predominantly 80% wool or more). Always try a test sample using your yarn first. Remember to stop your washing machine during the felting process to check your size frequently as most of these are felted to fit!

Warning: Felting can be habit forming!
