lace flows into a simple horizontal edging that can be worked at the end of any
10-row lace repeat, making it easy to customize the size. The lace is easy to
memorize and fun to work, and the edging can be embellished with beads.
Instructions are written for lace weight yarn, but this design also works well

stitch lace shawl celebrates Arachne from Greek mythology and Spider Woman from

center back neck down, and the simple Spider Lace flows into a Spider-in-a-Web
border and edging. The Spider Lace repeats over 10 rows so it is easy to

beasts will felt such as sheep's wool, goat's mohair if mixed with wool, and alpaca. Many bleached
or off-white and light colors do not felt well if at all. Do not use superwash
wools, synthetics, silk, or cellulose (cotton, ramie, rayon, etc.) as these will
not felt (wool blended with silk or cellulose fibers will felt if the blend is
predominantly 80% wool or more). Always try a test

these boot slippers will keep feet warm and cozy.
They feature double soles for extra comfort and longer wear. Written for
children's sizes x-small 5", small 6", medium 7", large 8", and x-large
9", easily customized during felting. Slippers are knit with a double
strand of worsted weight wool and trimmed with a thick, fur-like
synthetic yarn. High top boot slippers require approximately 300, 320,
410, 470, 550 yards of main yarn per pair and 55, 60, 65, 75, 85 yards
of synthetic for cuff and trim. Low top boot slippers require
approximately 290, 300, 380, 430, 500 yards of main yarn per pair and
