- All Hand
Painted Yarns can vary from dye lot to dye lot. Be
certain to order the amount of yarn you will need for
your intended project. Individual skeins within the same dye lot will
vary as well, if noticeable, knit alternately from two different skeins. Most orders for any of Mountain
Colors' Yarn Styles and Colors are Dyed-to-Order and are
drop-shipped directly from Mountain Colors in Montana.
Please allow from 4 to 6 weeks for creation of the yarns you
request plus shipping time. Most orders will not take
this long. This guarantees matching dye lots so you know
you'll get exactly what you want. Unleash your creativity
to mix and match textures and colors. These exceptional
yarns are worth the short wait!
Please note that most of Mountain
Colors Yarns are sold by the given yardage, all weights are approximate. The
exceptions to this rule are the Weavers Wool and the Wool Crepe full dyer's
skeins, whose weights and yardages are approximate.
Mountain Colors will happily create Kits
made-to-order for sizes larger than average sizes given in the patterns!
